This website is operated by Catawba Yacht Club, a private, non-profit club on Lake Wylie in Charlotte, North Carolina. It is provided for general information about the club and its sailing, rowing and Learn to Sail programs. By using the site you agree to these terms.

We work to keep schedules, rules, fees and program details current, but content on this site is provided as-is and may change without notice. Club rules, racing instructions and the bylaws as adopted by the membership govern in the event of any conflict with information published here. Please confirm details with a club officer before relying on them.

Submitting a membership application or an inquiry through this site does not create a membership or any obligation on the part of the club. Applications are reviewed under the club's membership process, and admission is at the discretion of the club. Dues, fees and payment terms are set by the club and communicated by the Treasurer.

Use of the clubhouse, docks, boathouse, boats and grounds is limited to members and their guests and is subject to the club rules and to all posted safety requirements. Boating involves inherent risk; members, guests and program participants are responsible for their own safety and the safety of those in their care.

Text, photographs, the club burgee and other materials on this site are the property of Catawba Yacht Club or its contributors and may not be reproduced for commercial use without permission. You may share and link to pages for personal, non-commercial purposes.

The site links to the club's program sites and to third-party resources such as US Sailing, USRowing, Google Calendar and social media. We are not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of sites we do not operate.
